Our annual VAE Controls Sports Day has become a valued tradition that we all look forward to. It provides an opportunity to step away from our daily routines, spend time together outside the workplace, and enjoy a day filled with activity, laughter, and great company.

We are pleased to share that our company has successfully completed the certification process for several key ISO standards, further demonstrating our commitment to quality, safety, sustainability, effective project management, and cybersecurity.

As a long-standing general partner, VAE CONTROLS will also participate in this year's 30th edition of the prestigious conference on New Methods and Procedures in WWTP Operation, which will take place on April 14-15, 2026. Among other things, the conference will feature a lecture by Jiří Kašparc entitled Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities, Pitfalls, Legislation.

At the 23rd Water Supply and Sewerage Operations Conference in Ostrava, a joint presentation by partner organizations VAE CONTROLS, OVaK, and ELVAC

We are pleased to announce the successful execution of the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for the storage facility project for the Cyprus Organisation for Storage and Management of Oil Stocks (KODAP).

Ethanol Energy a.s., a leading producer of both conventional and advanced biofuels based in Vrdy, and VAE CONTROLS, s.r.o., a member of the VCL GROUP, a.s., signed a contract on Monday, June 2, 2025, for the implementation of the project "Utilization of the Energy Potential of Side Streams in Ethanol Energy, a.s. (Biogas)."
This CZK 1 billion investment will enable the replacement of up to 65% of natural gas consumption with renewable biogas produced from low-dry-matter stillage. As a result, the energy-intensive concentration and drying of these by-products will be avoided, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The first phase of the new technology is expected to launch in November 2027, with follow-up operations beginning a year later. The project is co-financed through the EU Emissions Trading System under the Modernisation Fund.

VAE CONTROLS took a part on 23rd International Water Management Exhibition in Prague together with our group partner VCL Watertech. We would like to thank all visitors who visited our booth!

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a significant project for Eastern Refinery Limited (ERL), located in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

Between January 2024 and May 2025, VAE Controls delivered a comprehensive solution involving the engineering design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an automated road tanker bitumen loading system.

Our advanced solution modernized ERL’s operations by integrating precise batching control and an intelligent traffic management system for tanker loading. This upgrade significantly improved the efficiency, safety, and accuracy of the bitumen delivery process.

VAE CONTROLS continues to carry out the reconstruction of the loading bays at PARAMO Pardubice. This project follows the successful revitalization of the PARAMO REKUPERACE terminal and the PARAMO ADITIVACE facility, representing another important step in the modernization of the site.
Our company is responsible for the complete project execution – from engineering documentation, equipment delivery, and multi-discipline implementation, to final commissioning.
Over the past few years, the scope of work has included the delivery of new loading arms and metering skids for both top and bottom loading operations.
This long-term cooperation underlines our expertise in terminal automation and infrastructure modernization, and we are proud to be a reliable partner in the continued development of the PARAMO site.

As part of the modernization of the LV switchgear in Building 211, we’ve successfully completed the dismantling of the old control panel KZ211.
The upgrade includes the construction of a brand-new compact concrete switchgear station. This facility integrates new electrical systems and MaR (Measurement and Regulation).

Location: Ascension Island is a volcanic island located in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean just south
of the equator.
General: Repair a 10" steel pipeline approximately 4,330 meters in length that begins at the shoreline storage tanks and runs to the airport. The pipeline is laid on steel supports that are secured into concrete blocks. In various places, these supports are corroded or the blocks are cracked due to age and exposure to harsh environmental conditions. The corroded areas of the supports have been repaired by replacing them with new blocks, the slip points have been supplemented with PTFE liners and the entire pipe has been painted.

On 24th June 2022 in Owendo, the CEO of La Société Gabonaise d'Entreposage de Produits Pétroliers (SGEPP), Mr. Félix Andy Makindey-Nze Nguema, hosted a delegation of investors from the Czech Republic led by the head of VAE CONTROLS, Mr. Martin Pecina, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Ambroise Banas Germain. The topic of the meeting was investment and business opportunities in Gabon.

VAE CONTROLS, s.r.o. has successfully passed the certification of quality management, project and environmental management, as well as safety information management and occupational health and safety management according to the required ČSN standards.

With the support of a grant from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, we are working together with VSB - Technical University Ostrava to develop a special range of security modules and devices (e.g. for biometric voice authentication and a virtual printer to increase operational security) that will be a part of the TAMAS - control system for terminals and petroleum product storages.

In April 2022 were successfully installed and commissioned grounding testers EGT4 at the tanktruck terminal Owendo which highly increases the operation safety.

The project deals with R&D for the creation of three software modules of a control system for fuel storage facilities contributing to the protection of life, health and property in explosion hazardous environments and helping to protect the environment in the petrochemical industry.
