Rehabilitation of 10″ and 4″ pipelines on Ascencion Island

Ascension Island is a volcanic island located in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean south of the coast from the equator. The presence of an airport requires maintaining an infrastructure for fuel distribution.
A rehabilitation pipeline supplies fuel to the airport and power plant. The climate on the island is very aggressive and corrosive, so the pipeline support system had to be repaired and the pipeline completely recoated.
The work included welding, installation and painting.
